| The Port of Kusadasi is busy from the end of March to early November with one cruise ship after another. We saw, quite possibly, one of the largest ships to dock there, as well as watched ships arrive and depart. |

| Pigeon Island or Bird Island, the small islet connected to the mainland by a causeway, is home to a stone fortress, gardens, walking paths, and beautiful views. There are "street vendors" along the causeway, as well as the "sight seeing tourist" gullets. |
