A BAZAAR DAY

Welcome to the Bursa Covered Bazaar (Pazaar), the 2nd oldest covered bazaar in Turkey.
Come in, stay a while, look, shop, eat.
Entrances to some of the "hans" or specific market areas for silk, leather, textiles, etc.



Shop after shop, hall after hall, left, right and center.



KOZA HAN - original silk cocoon market and today the hub of the silk trade industry of Turkey.  Courtyard bustles with tea houses for business and pleasure...and always a simit.

Textiles anyone.....bedding, drapery, towels...
Shopping is hard work, time for a tea break.
You can buy anything you want....shoes,

Scarves and pj's....refreshment fountain????

Formal attire....

Jewels....

Marble and copper community water faucet....

Specialty clothing for boys for specific rituals.....
Lunchtime...a doner kebap....thinly sliced lamb, veges in a thin wrap.  But very unTurkish...NO tea!!

Must be a good sale in that store...
